Suggest Treatment For Persistent Joints Pain

My symptoms are joint pain that is jumping joint to joint, started with sciatica, had steroid injection and that went away but joint by joint the pain is getting worse and worse, no sleep, muscle dystrophy, I am cold even though it is 100 degrees, weight loss, very weak. this has all happened in a 3 month period. I was very muscular but now like jelly. tried knee surgery to stop that pain. knee pain is still extreme and got blood clots and now on blood thinners.

Hello,

I have gone through your query. It may be due to osteoarthritis.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

For further assessment you may require X Ray of affected joints after orthopedician consultation.

Use knee cap.

Use support while walking.

Avoid forward bending and squatting position.

You may require calcium tablet and vit D after consultation and relevant investigation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
