Suggest Treatment For Persistent Knee Pain

I have knee pain for the past couple of months when I bend my knee. It hurts on both knees but particularly the right. The pain is on the left side/inside of the knee. It hurts especially if I twist my knee or going down stairs. It gets worse when I am more active like going up and down a ladder. When I go down stairs it feels like it is thick inside my knee.
