Mild pain in rt. side lower portion of abdomen, I have no ovaries (removed), had an appendectomy in 1942.The pain has been present for 2-3 months, every day for periods varying 2-3 hrs. Had a CAT scan, negative. The discomfort is mild (similar to the time when I could feel ovulation always on the rt side. I am 86 years old. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

What about your bowel habits? I am asking because CT and other things are normal. There is no need to worry. You need to rule out any colitis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. C. Elanchezhian, General & Family Physician
