Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had extremely bad periods since I started at 11. I was scheduled to have an ablasion last month I had an ultrasound and biopsy last month. The surgery got rescheduled since my obgyn of 15 years is not doing surgeris anymore. His assistant called at 330 the day before to tell me she dud not feel comfortable doing it unless I was completely under anastesia. What has changed in the last month is that I woke up a week ago with an excruciating lower back pain. My cramps have always been worse then back. I have had my first UT IS that I have ever had one 3 months ago it cleared right up the last one 3 weeks ago the painful urination stopped the first day but I had lower back pain. I assumed it turned intO a kidney infection but now I know that much higher. I have spoken to my Obgyn and General practice they mentioned the possibility of endometriosis. Very unfortunate timing my husband just list his job and I will not have insurance after the 31st of May. The back pain is so severe that over the counter medicine dones nor touch it. I did get some narcotics a few weeks ago but I have run out. I want to change OBGYN since he feels he can t do anything about it before the 31st but I feel like I need to get that surgery done to determine if it is? I need help I am running out of time and am in so much pain I can t think straight. Any suggestions??

You need to have a detailed examination and various tests like: 1) Complete blood picture 2) Complete urine examination 3) Ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis 4) MRI of lumbar spine
