Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had lower back pain for years, pretty much on Tylenol every day. Recently I had a chest x-ray at the hospital for something else and the test results in my chart showed that I have cervical spurring on my lower back. What should I do now? is this arthritis? I have a pacemaker and therefore I can t have an mri, what do you think my next move should be. My husband also has lower back trouble for sometime and gets shots in his back which has managed his pain. All I want is to be able to have a day when I am not in pain Please help!

Suggest Treatment For Persistent Lower Back Pain
Hello, As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
