Suggest Treatment For Persistent Pain After Dental Procedure
I had oral surgery this morning about 8am and was prescribed tylenol 3, so far I have taken 4 of them and the pain has not let up, now the office is calling me in toradol will that help me because the dentist does not prescribe any narcotic medications
Oral surgical procedure can cause inflammation of the soft tissues and it can lead to severe pain especially in the initial 3-4 days which gradually subsides..
Tylenol can help in reducing mild to moderate pain but if pain is severe higher painkillers can be helpful in reducing pain..
Toradol contains active ingredient Ketorolac and is suitable in reducing pain of severe nature, however you can also take Narcotic painkillers like Tramadol to relieve pain..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
