Suggest Treatment For Persistent Pain In Left Foot
Hi, I ve been experiencing pain in my left foot. I do coach and occasionally play soccer. That s my job. I went to the athletic trainer at the school I most recently worked at and he said it wasn t much he could do about it to stay off it for a few weeks as much as possible. I recently did so and all of a sudden it s come back. It doesn t seem to make a major difference what shoes I wear. It s along the large Metatarsal bone more so towards the big toe.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persistent pain in left foot. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like achilles tendonitis , bone spurs , bunions , bursitis , corns and calluses , diabetic neuropathy , gout or plantar fasciitis . But in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to bone abnormalities , thinning out or shifting of your foot pad’s fatty tissue , high arch or flat feet or hammertoes. Need not to worry. For now give proper rest to your feet , do gentle massage of foot and put your feet in hot water tub with one spoon of salt daily at least for 15 minutes . I would suggest you to consult podiatrist for proper diagnosis and treatment . Podiatrist may recommend supportive footwear such as sneakers , arch supports , metatarsal pads , shock absorbing shoe insoles and inserts and orthotics .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
