Suggest Treatment For Persistent Pain In Tailbone
I have pain in my tailbone. 3 weeks ago I started taking ibuprofen 800 milligram. That did not help so I started taking meloxicam and made a doctors appointment the doctor put me on prednisone 10 milligram 2 tablets once daily for 10 days. My last dose was yesterday and today I am in more pain than I have been the doctor said it was from overworking my body I m in home caregiver and work long hours I m also redoing my house that he said that it should clear up in 10 days and it has not I have not fallen and 7 months do you know if there could be any other reason for this pain it is to the point where I struggle to lift my patience if there s any advice or help you can give please let me know

I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT sca, MRI along with physical examination to check the tenderness and if there is any lump along with nerve conduction test . Doctor may recommend physical therapy along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also refer you to genera;l surgeon for excision of cyst .
