Suggest Treatment For Persistent Pain In Testicle Caused After A Injury

Two days ago I injured my testicals. Immediately I was in pain. I felt like I had just got hit with the flue. I was warm nauseous and felt like I was going to pass out. Many hours of toughing through it all I showered and checked myself. I knew I had twisted my testicle. I tried to manually reset it but had no luck. I went to the ER where I sat from 9pm-1am. The ultrasound showed blood flow in the testicle. They gave me a shot in the butt and sent me home. Two days later I m still in some pain. But the testicle looks fine, but still hurts. What should I do?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

As long as the ultrasound did not show any abnormality in the testicles, there is nothing to worry about. It is just a small hematoma that will resolve in few days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
