Hello,
During some type of sex game you had a trauma on the testicles and presently it is swollen and you have persistent pain. I am sorry to hear about it. You are on prescription medicine of your treating doctor who diagnosed the symptoms to be due to infection. You are already 10 days and do not feel like you are getting better. It is sore and hurting you.
You are suggested to get clinically examined by a
Urologist. Trauma to the
scrotum commonly harms the contents of the testis causing tear with blood leaking from the wound, it may also cause infection also. Persistent pain that you are experiencing may be due to infection or swelling of the
epididymis. Get a scrotal
ultrasound scan done to study the testicle, epididymis,
spermatic cord and its blood flow. You will be treated (conservative or surgery if required) according.
Your treating Urologist may ask you to get a
urinalysis (R/E and C/S) and few routine workouts to be done. In the meantime, take the prescription medicines that the urologist prescribes and wear a jock strap to protect the affected scrotal sac. Get treated at the earliest. You can take
Combiflam, one SOS to relieve the pain.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
