Suggest Treatment For Persistent Pain In The Chest
I have 12 heart vessel stents ,is it possible to have more placed? I had a open heart surgery that was not successful 10 years ago I will not put myself in that frame again . I am A male almost 70 years, am of light weight and have traveled the world and stat active. But have been getting a bit of pain in my chest that presents at night,some restonsis going on ?
Thank you for your question Your chest pain is due to coronary arteries athrroslerosis. Blocked vessels of the heart since you have had open heart surgery and stands. You need close follow up by a doctor preferably cardiologist. Investigations 1. Chest X ray. check the condition of the heart 2. ECG check for arrthymias 3. cardiac enzymes. 4. D dimmers 5. Lipid profiles (Cholesteral) Treatment This will depend on the out come. Pain killers are very important. Asprin based for thining blood. As above consult cardiologist.
