Suggest Treatment For Persistent Pain In The Scrotum
Hi Firstly The skin on my penis has become very sensitive (hyper sensitive). This started a while ago and would typically heal after a few days. But its a constant thing now. I believe its from masturbation and i am worried i have damaged the skin. Sometimes it itches and and its sore. i have to apply anti fungal creams / clotrimazole/ diproson etc just to cool it down. sometimes i have applied medicated powder to soothe it as well. Are there any other creams of oil i can use to soothe this efect? Secondly, I have had pain in my scrotum for about 4 months now. I researched and though I may have varicocele due to the sympthoms. This also came with the skin on my scrotum (the bag) drying up at intervals. Very dry and wrinkly skin except I moisturise. I though i had an infection. I just had a check up which revealed that I have no STDs. However, the testicular scan revealed an epiddymal cycst developing along with a varicocele on the left side of my scrotum. The dull pain is still there and it fluctuates in intensity. I am 41 years old. Married. Stayed away from sex for a while because I dont know whats going on down there and Im afraid sex may be painful because of the hyper sensitive and sore skin on my penis. I have masturbated in the period but with a condom so as not to damage the skin further. I dont have erection problems neither do i lack sensitivity. I am however very very worried. Please help. !! GG.

Suggest Treatment For Persistent Pain In The Scrotum
Hello, Consult a general surgeon and get an ultrasound scan done. Most probably it will be due to minor conditions like epididymitis. As of now, you can take analgesics like aceclofenac or tramadol for pain relief. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
