Suggest Treatment For Persistent Rashes And Itching On The Skin
I ve been taking Duloxetine to treat panic attacks for a year and have skin problems on my hands. I ve been to my primary physician and to dermatologists and all I get is Oh, it must be dermatitis and a prescription for a cortisone creme, which doesn t get rid of the rash/bumps/blisters/peeling/redness/itching and burning. I have an appointment with a specialist but can t get in to see her until November. Have you heard of Duloxetine/Cymbalta causing skin disorders? Thank you.
Duloxetine may cause red skin, peeling, bumps, burning sensation, itchiness, etc. It is important that you talk about this with your doctor and gradually decrease the dose of the drug until you completely quit it. Your doctor may, in the meantime, prescribe you another drug to help with your panic attacks.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
General and Family Physician
