Suggest Treatment For Persistent Sinus Infection And Anxiety
I checked my BP and it was high the first time then at risk the second time. I have head pressure annd ache in back and my ears feel full off and on. I was diagnosed with a sinus infection about 3 weeks ago. The last med I took was venlaxafine for some stress and anxiety due to work. Can I take something for the headache/pressure?
The symptoms of pressure in head, fullness in ears when already diagnosed with sinus infection are most probably due to Sinusitis only. So my suggestion is to consult a Physician and get yourself checked.
You can be advised a course of antibiotics like Augmentin, painkillers and also decongestants like Phenylephrine.
For now to reduce pressure and discomfort you can do steam inhalation, take decongestant nasal sprays like Otrivin and do warm compresses around nostrils.
Use a humidifier in your room. Avoid excess use of air conditioners as it can also cause discomfort. Drink warm water and avoid spicy and irritant foods.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
