Sinusitis persist for a long period or reoccur frequently mostly due to incomplete antibiotic treatment leading to remnant of infection flaring up later , some anatomical defect like DNS which hamper the drainage of sinus (mostly unilateral), frequent cold and allergens.
I would recommend
1. Antibiotics. have a complete course. Amoxycillin plus clavunate for 7-10days
2. Nasal decongestants. helps relieve edema and drain the sinus.
3. Steam Inhalation. Most important of all as steam helps in healing the inflamed sinus and drain them. Steam after nasal decongestant drops (not more than a week)
4. Do Pranayama. A type of breathing exercise which helps to aerate sinus
5.Get a X ray PNS done to diagnose DNS which is somoetimes missed clinically.

Hope it Helps you to get well soon
