My friend is experiencing heavy sneezing and it generally happens almost every day, any time of day. He is experiencing this problem after coming to Bangalore. Mucous - mostly transparent and clear.
Tablets tried - Citrezine, avil, corinate but non of them worked.

Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Divakara's Response
HI
Thanks for posting your query .
It seems like you are suffering Allergic Rhinitis which occurs due to allergy to something . Probable you might be allergic to air in Bangalore .
I advise you to get a prescription from your doctor fro a spray called Avamys and use it daily for 2 months . Avoid smoke , dust and cold Air.
It might be due to allergy to something and if it persist then you might have to do some investigation to find the cause of allergy like skin prick test . If such a patient comes to me, I would suggest using the combination of levocetrizine and monteleucast(like "montek lc" for example) one tablet a night for 2 weeks and see if the symptoms subside.
