Hi Dr Andrew, My name is Kate. I have had that yucky flu thats going around and had a sore throat with it. Now that my flu is almost gone one side of my thoat is still extremely sore and swollen. I get tonsil stones and they feel like nothing in comparison. It hurts to talk to and eat and drink. what should I do?
For persistent sore throat take antibiotics like augmentin or azithral after an expert opinion along with diominic-dca or wikoryl for throat discomfort. Do warm water gargles and take steam inhalation daily along with nebulization. Take syrup bro-zedex or grilinctus-bm for soothing of the throat.
