Suggest Treatment For Persistent Stomach Pain Along With Diarrhea And Constipation
I have been very ill for over a year I have been in and out of several hospitals severe stomach pain and I have had C diff several times so severe no antibiotics would work I had the fecal treatment done in August the c diff has not returned but I continued to have severs stomach pain which never goes away I either have diareha or I go several days with no bowel movement at all I usually weigh between 115 to 120 I now weigh 165 and my stomach looks as though I am 9 months pregnant 2 doctors have reffered me to Ohio State with severe bowel impactment my last Xray showed I have bowel compacted to the bottom of my stomach I have done my own research with my symptoms could I have Toxic Megacolon? Again I am so sick and in so much pain if something cant be found soon I don t know how much longer I can bear....

It is probably not toxic megacolon according to the history it could be irritable bowel syndrome u can start on lubpristone for 12 weeks, linaclotide for 2 weeks, rifaximin for 10 days, psyllium for 4 weeks. Take high fiber diet and avoid gluten diet. This would probably improve your condition.
