Suggest Treatment For Persistent Stomach Problems With Anal Itching
Hello Doctor, I have been having stomach problem for the last two years or so. I get sever spasm of the G I tract and this happens only when I eat food with chillies and masala and also food in a hotel or in functions out of my house. When I consulted a Gastroenterologist, he prescribed CINITAPRIDE with OMEPERAZOLE combination (1 bid) along with NORMAXIN (1 od). I used the medications for 90 days. Thought it was fine for some time. But the problem persists and now I am getting constipation like not actually constipation (hardened stools) and loose stools alternatively. Also for the past few days I am having sever anal itching. Can you help me please and suggest whether I have to go for COLONOSCOPY for diagnosis which is cumbersome process. Thank you Doctor.

I really appreciate your concern, your symptoms could be due to hyperacidity and it can be treatment with drug "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg with Domperidone 30 mg" once in day at evening time for six weeks, avoid coffee, smoking, alcohol, spicy food at the time of bed, low down the stress hope this information helps.
