Suggest Treatment For Piece Of Steak Stuck Inside Throat

Yes please my daughter got a piece of steak stuck in her throat but she got it to go down but now she is worried the it is stuck in her esophagus. She is breathing fine. She says she still feel like it is in her throat but not sure if that is just her nerves about her worrying. Should she
be concerned?

Well thank you user for your query.
As far as your query goes there are bleak possibility that the steak is still stucked in the oesophagus. Regarding her feeling that the steak is still in her oesophagus, well that feeling may be due to the injury to the oesophageal mucosa which the steak must have caused.
You can consult an ENT specialist as he might ask you to get the endoscopy done for upper GI tract.
For the time being i suggest her to have semi solids to liquid food, and also she should not consume spicy food as that might irritate the mucosa.
