Suggest Treatment For Pilonidal Sinus With Pus Discharge

Hi, I have a case of pilonidal sinus, where there is a pus discharge from the affected area every 10-15 days. Is it a serious case? I regularly clean around the affected area. If I go for a surgery, how many days it might take for me to get back to my regular routine? What are the methods of treatment for the same?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
HI,
I have gone through your query; and suggest you that if you are suffering from the pilonidal sinus then best treatment are surgery.
In mild cases it may treat by antibiotic therapy, hot compresses and application of depilatory creams.
But in moderate to severe cases it may require surgery and recovery depend upon severity of your disease.

Thanks
