Suggest Treatment For Pimple-like Spots In The Groin Area
Hi, Before my period each month pimples appear in my bikini zone. They usually have pus and heal within a day or too. Some may also release a hard pus with a hair follicle attached. Sometimes I also have green discharge along with clear discharge. Lastly, pimples appear in other hair area near the bottom of the outer labia.
This is due to infection of hair follicles (folliculitis). 1. Amoxicillin 500 mg every 8 hours per oral for 5 days 2. Apply mupirocin cream (T – Bact cream) locally every 8 hours 3. Wear loose cotton undergarment and clothes 4. Sweating predisposes infection. You can use dusting powder to keep your groin dry. 5. You there are too much hair in groin area then you can trim those hairs regularly 6. Adopt proper hygienic practices such as bathing and cleaning with good quality soap 7. Wash your hand before taking food and after coming from toilet 8. Take high protein diet such as eggs, meat, cheese, vegetable and fruits 9. Investigation – blood sugar (F & PP) Thanks
