Suggest Treatment For Pimples On Forehead While On Azithromycin
Hi doc....i have a mild acne for which iam taking azithromycin 250mg and applying a Duac gel (benzoyl peroxide) the pimples are only located on my forehead . I want to know if #1this is the best medicine and ??? #2 is acne triggered by eating food rich in oils ???? #3 when will it be completely cured??
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pimples on forehead while on Azithromycin, Well pimples are the result of excessive production of sebum from sebaceous gland. There are many factors responsible for pimples like hormonal changes ,too much oily creams ,some medications and environmental factors. I would suggest you to use benzoyl peroxide lotion twice a day after wash your face with mild soap ,apply ice for 5 minutes on affected area thrice a day. Take steam before going to bed .You can also take oral antibiotics along with it like tetracycline. Treatment you are taking is best. Yes acne are triggered by eating food rich in oil and spices. It will be completely cured in 3-4 weeks if all precautions taken properly. If pimples still persists or doesn't improve in one month ,consult dermatologist.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
