Suggest Treatment For Pimples On The Face, Shoulder And Chest

My friend was suffering with small growths filled on his chest, sholders and back side & on his face full of pimples... He took treatment and it cured... Now the dots and rough surface remains... Problem is he used a tablet continuesly.. Doctor said to be careful about marriage and not try to be a father for 2yrs. Now many questions regarding this are... Can he marry.. Any problem to insemenation... Any problem to pass saliva by lip lock kissing.. Any chance of std from him to the girl..? almost 1 year completed as the tablet had stoped. Pls reply.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your friend should be fine and there are no potential risks to the marriage or future children due to the use of oral treatment for acne.
Oral treatment for acne does not cause problems with the semen or saliva and does not increase the risk for sexually transmitted diseases.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
