Suggest Treatment For Pinched Nerve In Neck With Pain Radiating Down The Arm

hi I need to ask you a question I was in a car accident and then I fell off the ladder backwards and I have a pinched nerve in my neck and is going down my arm and I have nerve damage I guess and I was wondering what I could take or what I could do.and thank you for answering my question

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have pinched nerve in neck with pain radiating down the arm . Well there can be many reasons for symptome you mention in query , but in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to nerve compression or pinched nerve . Damage from a pinched nerve may be minor or severe. It may cause temporary or long-lasting problems. The earlier you get a diagnosis and treatment for nerve compression, the more quickly you'll find relief. So i would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor order nerve conduction study , electromyography and MRI to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as aspirin or ibuprofen , steroid injection and recommend physical therapy . Doctor may also recommend surgery in severe case . For now do light stretching exercises under expert and apply warm compresses to affected area .
