Suggest Treatment For Pinching Pain In The Lower Left Abdomen
I am having pinching pain in my lower left abdomen along with overactive bladder. I have it on my lower right side too but infrequently. In March of this year I had a compete hysterectomy because of ovarian cancer. In August I finished my Chemo therapy and now I m having this could it be related or something different. I must also let you know I have RA, Sjogren s, Hypothyroid, and am severely anemic. (sorry its a lot)
In my view, the symptoms could either be due to inflammatory bowel disease; which can be associated with autoimmune disorders like RA, Sjogren's syndrome, and Thyroid disorders. It is less likely to be a recurrence of Ovarian cancer, but it is better to get radio imaging done for confirmation. I would suggest you visit your treating doctor, and get a thorough abdominal examination done along with an ultrasound, CRP, ESR, Serological markers of inflammatory bowel disease tested.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ayesha Shareef, General & Family Physician
