Suggest Treatment For Pneumonia And Flu
I am 82 years old healthy woman, I caught a very bad flu about two and half weeks ago. I went to see a doctor about 7 days ago. The doctor diagnosed that I have a walking pneumonia, so she prescribed 3 medications; celestamine NS syrup, Lefloxin (500mg) and Histiocil (for cough). My coughing and sneezing have stopped. I finished taking all medication except Lefloxin. I have been taking one spoonfull, twice a day of Lefloxin. I probably will finish taking it in two or three days. I feel better than before but drowsiness and tired feeling sometimes come back. I don t know if the medications have been causing the tired feeling and drowsiness. Please let me know. I don t take any medications before and I am healthy all my life.

Post respiratory infection or in fact any infection in geriatric age group causes tiredness. Kindly continue lefloxin until you are asked to stop. Once you are done with the course kindly consult your doctor for multi vitamin supplements.
