Pneumonia is treated by antibiotics.
It is chest infection caused by bacteria.
If pneumonia does not respond to antibiotics then u need to do culture sensitivity test. This test identifies which antibiotic is sensitive to work for this infection.
In most cases pneumonia is a short-term, treatable illness. But frequent bouts of pneumonia can be a serious complication of a long-term (chronic) illness, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
