Suggest Treatment For Polyp Inside Nasal Passage And Soreness Around Nose
Hello. I have what looks like a polyp inside my nasal passage. It is fairly large, but not blocking the airflow. I did have some soreness on the outside/ top of my nose around the area of the polyp. I was exposed to black mold approximately 3 months ago, and am wondering if this could have triggered it. Should I consult with my PCP or go directly to an ENT doc?

I have gone through your question and understand your concern. In my view, ENT is preferable as nasal polyps need to be examined thoroughly to know extent of polyp and its deeper location.
