Suggest Treatment For Poor Appetite And Worms In Stomach In A Child

hi! doctor, my kid is just 1 and half year old and he is very weak and on top of that he doesn't eat much.... and last time i took him to the hospital and checked his blood and stool which they found that there are some round worms in his stomach but i think its not only cos of that round worm but he doesnt eat well from breast feeding it self. so what is the solution and how can my baby regain his energy back.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Infestation with round worms leads to malnutrition and loss of appetite.
First of all treat with albendazole 200 mg as a single dose after food at night and repeat the same after 2 weeks to eradicate round worms.
Appetite improves after eradication of worms.
High protein diet and supplimetation of vitamins specially vitamin A will improve his general health.
