Hi, I m 21 years old. I just had Lasik surgery done on June 1, 2016 at Dello Russo Laser Vision. I had a high prescription and the doctor who performed the surgery on me didn t check on whether or not my prescription fluctuates claiming that since I m 21 years old that I my prescription should be stable. I m now seeing perfectly on my left eye (20/20) but my right eye isn t very clear. It s difficult for me to look at the computer screen and read what s on the screen because of a slight blur caused by my right eye. In order to read words off my computer screen, I have to close my right eye. The only symptom that I have experienced thus far is starbursts at night which has made it incredibly difficult for me to drive. I plan on taking 4 exams to attain my CPA license this year and also completing my masters degree by the end of Fall 2017. Will the amount of studying reduce my eye vision? Also, am I at risk of blindness? If an enhancement is needed, are there any alternatives that don t include surgery? I would rather avoid doing surgery again. Is it too early to consider Sceleral Lenses? Please give me your opinion on this. I feel that I made a huge mistake and there s no way in fixing this.
