Suggest Treatment For Post Nasal Drip And Throat Dryness
For the past 9 months I've had a tickle in my throat, I thought was caused by post nasal drip...feels like there's a hair stuck in my throat, throat sometimes feels dry & I will lose my voice.. Prescribed nasal spray & Otc allergy meds but problem still persists
I would suggest you visit ENT specialist once and get it examined completely as it can cause irritation and infection in throat that is lead to cough reflex and go for certain tests like blood test, throat swab test and respiratory function test. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics (amoxicillin or penicillin) and nasal decongestants.
For now take steam inhalation and do warm saline gargles. Avoid cold carbonated beverages and sharp spicy food.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
