General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Post nasal drip commonly occurs in response to a particular allergen eg dust, pollen, foods/drink, animal dander.

If you can identify the allergen causing the reaction and reduce your exposure to it then it is possible that your symptoms would also be reduced.

The use of topical steroid nasal sprays and oral antihistamines would also help.
Eg of sprays are rhinocort, nasonex, nasocort, flonase

I hope this helps
