Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. You have mentioned that you have post partum depression, but the depressive symptoms are present since teenage years. These symptoms started after some embarrassing moment and still the horrible feelings are persistent. The feelings of guilt are there. For these persistent symptoms in my opinion you should consult a psychiatrist. As the post partum depression harms both mother and baby so should be treated with proper attention.
Medicines like SSRIs especially Sertraline or Fluoxetine can be used. Sertraline is even a safe drug during breast feeding also. These drugs will help to reduce the unwanted thoughts about past incidents and will improve your mood. Please consult a psychiatrist for evaluation and treatment.
Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
