Suggest Treatment For Premature Greying Of Hair In A Child
Hello Doctor , my is 2 yrs and 2on the now I noticed grey or white hair on his head when he was 8 or 9 months old . Now it has increased to 3 white hair . I has vitamin b12 , vitamin D , calcium deficiency while I was feeding him till he turned one .
Pre mature greying of hair of a child of 2 years is not normal and the same has to be evaluated with an expert pediatrician for possible root cause as some sort of endocrinopathy, nutritional deficiency or others. No treatment guidelines can be figured out at this platform , except a balanced nutritious diet and intake of multi vitamin with zinc, minerals, magnesium, vitamin E for hair nourishment. Taking care of dandruff if any would help a great for sure.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
