Suggest Treatment For Presence Of White Spots On The Lips
Lip/skin condition. A white dot/spot on the lip. I had a demotologist take a biopsy which was negative, even though I know that was not the diagnoses. Ignored my input of white spot, then after two stitches commented on a possible condition with those symptoms. Any ideas?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of presence of presence of white spots on the lips which seems like fordyce's spots which is a very normal occurrence as these are slightly raised sebaceous glands and are not any pathology. It could be leukoplakic patches and malignant pathology.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to use benzydamine, chlorhexidine mouthwash along with maintenance of a good oral hygiene . Avoid hot and spicy food which can increase the pain. As biopsy done and results are negative so chances of malignant pathology are least. Avoid licking or sucking of lips and apply cold compresses. Spot will subside gradually with such combination of factors. You should visit dentist once if symptoms keeps on occurring and complete examination done and start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
