Suggest Treatment For Pressure And Discomfort In The Left Groin And Abdominal Area

Hi I have painful discomfort pressure in my lower left groin abdomen region. When i have an erection, masturbate etc the pain and pressure is worse so that i need to press my palm over that area to ease it or if i wanted to ejaculate for example. Is this an inguinal hernia or bad muscle strain. I have no bump or protrusion and nothing lifts if i cough. It s been a few weeks and noticed it this bad for about 10 days now. Some months ago i had a twinge of weakness in and around my navel but this seems better now. Thanks George

General & Family Physician 's  Response
dear friend
the area you are describing is in the path of a structure called ductus deferens which carries the sperms from the testes to the seminal vesicle which is on the prostrate storing the semen for ejaculation.

it may be possible that you may be having a infection or inflammation of the prostrate or the testicular structures. please get a semen analysis , culture and a urine examination done to rule out any infection, in case found a course of antibiotics will fix the problem
