Suggest Treatment For Progressive Multiple Sclerosis
Good evening Sir, Issue: outside corner Left eye continues to secrete tear fluid throughout day & large amount of sleep sand present in a.m.? (no trauma or optic events) Right eye normal. Saline eye drop(s) ineffective- Also: I have progressive multiple sclerosis Dx d 2001- No longer employed & now use power chair (Permobil) for primary mobility. Could this possibly be some part/portion of the optic nerves becoming over active possibly due to MS? Any ideas !? Thank you
You may be suffering from conjunctivitis may be bacterial or viral.Multiple sclerosis can cause optic neuritis at least once in a lifetime with MS.
Also dry eyes or high temperature zones may cause this problem.
Use Carboxymethyl cellulose eye drops if necessary.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
