Hi, As per your complain TMJ can be a cause of tinnitus as every time you move the jaw there can be a clicking or grinding sound from the TMJ leading to Tinnitus. At times when the soft cushion that is present between the two bony ends of the jaw joint gets displaced there is a rubbing/clicking or grinding sound that causes ringing sensation in ears. You need to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Panoromic x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly. You can be advised a course of pain relievers and muscle relaxants along with mouth guards or oral splints. Physiotherapy can also be advised for relief.
