Suggest Treatment For Prophetic Visions And Hearing Voices

I take zyprexa now for nearly 10 years. I use to hear voices and see visions usually prophetic in nature but not always. I ve been told I will need to take this medication for the rest of my life. Is this in your opinion accurate? Isnt there a natural means of combating my psychiatric problem?

Hello dear user!
Welcome to HCM!

Brief answer:
Take the medication continuously.

Detailed answer:

Since you have this type of clinic for many years and the symptoms continue to persist, there is no chance to quit the medication. Natural meds can help but the problem is we can't measure the effect and titration of them correctly.

I think you have to keep the contacts with your specialist doctor continuously and now you may need to change the dose or to add any additional medications to make a combined therapy.

That can be done by your psychiatrist only.

Take care and best wishes for you!
Kind regards!
DR ERIOL.
