Suggest Treatment For Protruding Knees And Weight Gain
my knees are protruding since past year or 2. I thought I might just be gaining weight but a friend suggested me to consult to doctor. I have no pain except that whole of my legs pain when i am exhausted or if i sleep less. Is it anything to be worried about?
Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.
With age bones do change their shape due to weight and low calcium depostis, its always advised to keep getting regular checkups for any osteomalacia, low calcium or vitamin D in the body. New research tells us that after 45 years of age one needs almost same amount of calcium and vitamin D as a growing child does so it is always advised that a person keep taking food products full of calcium and vitamin D plus OTC calcium viatmin D pills are also available.
Weight should be kept in healthy limits. I would suggest you to contact your doctor in this regard this will let him see if this is fine or there actually is some deformity developing. I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you. Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad
