My husband suffers from psoritic arthritis he is 59 years old. He has been taking diclofnac Sodium 75mg for ten years and has now developed a fast irreular heart beat. The GP has preformed an ECG. We were looking at a class of drugs called Biologics for his condition. He can not take Suphasalizine and is very reluctant to take Methotrexate. Thankyou for your advice. Zoe White
NSAIDs, DMARDs (disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs) are sometimes prescribed in more severe cases. .TNF-a inhibitors, a newer class of biologic medication can be taken.
