Suggest Treatment For Pulmonary Hypertension And Sleep Apnea
Hi I have pulmonary Hypertension sleep apnea and hypertension. About a month ago I was outside doing chores and felt a need to clear my thoat as if there was mucus. Blood came out instead. Kind of a mix of bright and darker blood. It continued a few more time that day lessening each time. A few weeks later the same occurrence. Of coarse now it s concerning me. A third time seeked out my pulmonary Specialist and he did a CT scan, chest xray aND throat xray. He told me come back in two weeks aND that he will call by the end of day foe the results. Nurse called back that day and doctor wants to see me in a week now. Do you have any ideas as to what s happening as I am kinda getting really nervous about this.
The cough in your mucus could be related to local irritation or a coagulation disorder. Do you take any blood thinners. I think that you should wait patiently for the test results, as they are going to clarify the cause of your complaints.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
