Suggest Treatment For Pulmonary Metastases Of Thyroid Cancer
Hello, I m a thyroid cancer survivor 5 years out from receiving a large dose of RAI. The cancer had spread to my lungs, so a lot of RAI entered there. Now, I have abnormal CT scans resembling a shattered glass-like appearance typical of drug toxicity. Can RAI, even years out, or Synthroid cause drug toxicity?

There is a possibility but I cannot say it is due to it. There are many causes of that appearance on CT. Oral kinase inhibitors are hopeful to some extent. Ask your chemotherapist and oncologist for further protocol treatment. Join online OMBW 'Art of Living' course. Researches shows better outcomes in quality of life in thyroid secondary cancer to lungs.
