Suggest Treatment For Purple Brownish Lump Along With Bruising On Knee

As of now it looks black and purplish brown, still a small lump under the bruise and is moderately painful. What should I do?

I would visit a doctor for an in-person exam. A classic condition associated with a popping sound is a meniscus injury. An MRI would show exactly what happened.
