HELLO..I HAVE HAD ANAL FISSURES SINCE LAST 4-5 MONTHS. WAS TREATED WITH OFLOX TZ FOR 7 DAYS AROUND 1 MONTH BACK. FISSURES ARE BETTER BUT A STINGING PAIN RECURS SOMETIMES MY PROBLEM IS THAT THE MOMENT I STOPPED MY OFLOX TZ A MONTH BACK, I HAVE DEVELOPED ANAL AND VAGINAL ITCHING(ON THE FOLDS). I WAS GIVEN ZOCON 150 ALTERANTE DAYS FOR 4 DOSES, SECNIL FORTE(2 TABS) AND CLINGEN VAP TABS FOR 10 DAYS. BUT NO RESPITE. THEN I WAS GIVEN ZENTEL ( 2 DOSES) ON ALTERNATE DAYS AND ALSO AN ANTI ALLEGRIC...AGAIN NO RESPONSE. I SOMETIMES HAVE MUCUS IN MY STOOLS BUT ONLY SOMETIMES. I WAS ADVISED TO GET A URINE AND STOOL TEST. URINE ROUTINE SAYS ...SQUAMOUS EPITHELIAL CELLS PRESENT STOOL TEST ON 2 CONSECUTIVE DAYS SAYS, PUS CELLS-6-8 MUCUS-TRACE,PH-6.5 PLS ADVISE
The issue of pus cells in stool is due to residual infection after certain antibiotic therapy. A culture report of stool would be highly specific to target the causative organisms.
The epithelial cells in urine can be secondary to dehydration, low liquids intake or same pathogen giving UTI as well.
Co-relation with total WBC counts and urine culture are also recommended to proceed for best results.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
