You have not described whether you have spondylosis or not. These symptoms are seen mainly at late stages of spondylosis. Physiotherapy has a vital role in this. Avoid heavy weight lifting during pain. Application of diclofenac gel and ultrasound therapy or short wave diathermy have a role to reduce pain. Aceclofenac with thiocolchicoside can aslo be used. Using a cervical collar to straighten the affected area is also necessary in progressive case. Its also recommended to asses your serum sugar and uric acid level.
