Suggest Treatment For Radiating Pain From The Right Thumb And Hand Tremor
I am in the military, veterans of Iraq war. I m 45 years old 5 11 184 pounds. I have slight High blood pressure but I have a stressful job as a Recruiter. I suffer from pain in my Right thumb that goes up half my arm. I also have hands that shake constantly. I don t smoke, drink or have much caffeine.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have radiating pain from the right thumb and hand tremor . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like nerve root compression due to disc protrusion , infection , muscle stain and swelling in joint . cervical spodylosis can also cause such problem .
Sometimes symptoms can also occur due to psychological reasons , so consult psychologist for it . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon first . I would suggest you to apply warm compresses , do light stretching exercise under expert , start physical therapy and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
Doctor may order CT scan , MRI or nerve conduction test . Doctor may prescribe methylcobalamin supplements , B12 supplementation anti inflammatory or recommend accupuncture.
