General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.

Based on the history given you seem to be suffering from sciatica due to a pinched nerve in the lower spine.

For such cases I usually prescribe non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug like Aceclofenac twice daily along with Pregablin tablet to be taken once daily at night. I also add tablet Mecobalmin once daily.

Beside medications you need to have certain lifestyle changes such as avoid lifting heavy objects, avoid using soft mattress while taking rest, do regular exercise (walking) and try to reduce the body weight if you are obese.

You also need to undergo X Ray of the spine and MRI scan to find out the exact cause of sciatica.

Hope this answers your query.
