Suggest Treatment For Rapid Heart Rate

I am a 72 year old active women, sometimes my heart beats really fast and I kind of lose my breath but then I am okay....don t know if I should see a Doctor, what do you think. First you say it is free and now you want money......scams and more scams!

Hi,
I think you have probably cardiac arrhythmia possibly supra ventricular tachycardia.

Though it needs to be confirmed by evaluation.

You should visit emergency care during episode of fast heart beats at that time electrocardiogram (ECG) may give important information. Along with it it is advisable to do resting ECG, electrophysiological study of heart, 2DEcho of heart, tests for kidney function, thyroid function.

Depending on above test result treatment may be planned.

Anxiety may also give these types of symptoms.
